Generation Science visit Braehead Primary School 31/1/12

BRAEHEAD Primary pupils have taken part in an exciting science project learning all about energy.

The Generation Science workshop, called Fizz, Boom, Bang, saw pupils explore the mysteries of mixtures and learning how chemicals react by fizzing, changing colour and even producing the occasional bang.

Braehead Primary head teacher Jenny Brebner said: “It was a hugely successful day in which the whole school took part.

“All of the pupils worked together in their various groups and everyone enjoyed themselves.

“We believe that Fizz, Boom, Bang is an excellent way of engaging our pupils in science, using some of the simplest experiments to create spectacular results. It is hands-on and makes science fun and enjoyable.”
