It may be the first month of the New Year but, for literary lovers, Atkinson-Pryce Bookshop is already welcoming more big names to Clydesdale.

The Biggar bookshop will welcome acclaimed author Eowyn Ivey for a literary lunch in mid February.

The author is coming all the way from Alaska for a five day tour of the UK to launch her novel The Snow Child.

Eowyn Ivey will be appearing at the Elphinstone Hotel, on behalf of Atkinson-Pryce Books, on Saturday, February 18.

Tickets are priced £20, which includes lunch and a discount on the book.
