And the winners are...
The winners of this year's Garden Competition - organised by the Herald Series and Kirkintilloch Horticultural Society - were announced at the Society's annual flower show at St Mary's Church Hall recently.
First place went to Ian Morton, from Kilsyth, with Kirkintilloch gardeners Robert Dewar and Anna McCaskill coming second and third respectively.
It was just one of a number of prizes presented at the successful event - which was as well attended as ever.
