East Dunbartonshire Council wants to ask members of the public, community groups and local organisations for their views on how services should be delivered when a £500,000 revamp at Kirkintilloch’s William Patrick Library is completed later this year.
The library closes on Sunday for 12 weeks to allow construction work to start on a new community hub on the ground floor.

The council says the engagement process will take place during June and will include service users, community councils, tenants’ and residents’ associations, East Dunbartonshire Access Panel and the Chamber of Commerce.
An online survey linked to the council website will be available from June 7, with hard copies available from the Barony Chambers, Information and Archives Service at the William Patrick Library and Tom Johnston House.
The new facility is scheduled to reopen on Monday, August 27.
