Carluke and Lanark Gazette: Top of the Tots 2010

AFTER the phenomenal success of last year's inaugural contest the Gazette's Bonny Baby competition returns for a second year.

Once again we have teamed up with four shops in our circulation area – Haldanes in Carluke, Morrisons in Lanark, The Co-op in Lesmahagow and The Co-op in Biggar – to give you the chance to enter.

On Monday, October 18, our Tiny Tots photographer will be taking pictures at The Co-op in Biggar.

And the photographer will visit Lesmahagow Co-op on Tuesday, October 19. Pictures will be taken between 10am and 4pm on both days.

Then from Wednesday, October 20, to Saturday, October 23, photographers will be at Haldanes in Carluke and Morrisons in Lanark to take snaps of all your bonny babies, once again between 10am and 4pm.

Parents or guardians will be asked to return to the store the following week to choose one of three pictures to enter in the Gazette contest.

All submitted pictures will be used in our Top of the Tots contest, which will run in the Gazette in November.

Children can be entered in three age categories – 0 to 17 months, 18 to 35 months and 36 to 60 months. After coupon and text voting the 10 finalists in each category will again feature in the Gazette.

Another round of voting will take place before the three winners are revealed.

Each winner will receive a 20x16in framed canvas of their winning picture – no doubt a perfect present just in time for Christmas.

So make sure you don't miss out on your tot being crowned the Gazette's top tot of 2010!
