COMPUTER users in Carluke are being urged not to fall for a scam fraudulently linked to PC giant Microsoft.

The scam involves hackers randomly targeting people and fraudulently obtaining their credit card details, before locking them out of their computer.

The warning comes from ICT Carluke Computer Centre owner Linda Craig.
