Win Knokchill season passes

WITH the 2009 FIA Formula One World Championship race calendar already underway all eyes will be on British hot shot Lewis Hamilton to find out if he can secure the World Championship for the second time.

En route to his current lofty position in F1, Lewis competed at Knockhill in 2005 at the wheel of a 170mph Formula Renault, finishing 5th overall.

For thrills nearer home, Scotland's National Motorsport Centre, the famous Knockhill Racing Circuit near Dunfermline in Fife is gearing up to host it's biggest, best and busiest season in its 35 year history.

And the Gazette has five 'All Events' Season Passes — worth 575 — up for grabs.

Our lucky winners will be able to attend every single event during 2009 for FREE!

With 35 separate, adrenaline pumping weekend events being staged during 2009, there is truly something for everyone taking place at the popular venue.

From Scottish Championship Bike Racing to the hotly-contested Car Racing season, it will be action all the way through to December for our lucky winners.

Highlights will include a fabulous family day out — provided by The Official Scottish Motor Show on May 9 and May 10 and the noisy and superfast British GT Champion-ship on June 13 and June 14.

The fantastic British Superbike Championship will explode onto the track on July 4 and July 5 followed by the breathtaking Hi Q British Touring Car Championship on August 15 and August 16.

All of this and more will be available to our winners.

To be in with a chance of winning a free 'All Events' 2009 Season Pass to Knockhill simply answer the following question.

* How many action packed weekend events take place during 2009 at Knockhill?

Send your answers on the form provided in our newspapers to Racing Competition, the Gazette, 3 High Street, Carluke, ML8 4AL, or 5 Wellgate, Lanark, ML11 9DS, to arrive no later than 5pm on Wednesday, May 6.

Please include a daytime telephone number as winners will be asked to collect their tickets at our offices in Carluke or Lanark — to ensure our two lucky winners have passes in time to attend the official Scottish Motor Show on May 9 and 10.
