Oliver incident was turning point
Clyde went down by a single goal to nil at Stair Park, but almost took the lead just before half-time when Michael Oliver capitalised on a defensive error and rounded home keeper David Mitchell.
But before the winger could find the open net he was brought down by The Blues’ number one.

Hide AdMuch to the amazement of all inside the ground, referee Gary Hilland did not award a penalty to The Bully Wee and send Mitchell for an early bath, but instead booked Oliver for diving and awarded the home side a freekick.
